1. Topic: Civic engagement in the “new normal”: Youngsters and their contributions to the community, together with “MOVEMENT” in “the new normal”

In an increasingly challenging and unpredictable world, people, especially the young, need to adapt and develop more than ever before. During the last two years, amid the appearance of a fatal epidemic, the game has been more and more demanding when youngsters have experienced “social distancing”. Accordingly, most schedules, innovatives and ambitions have faced the fact of being postponed or even cancelled. This worldwide chaos has caused an incredibly unprecedented challenge to the young generation, who was called “the lost Covid generation” by UNICEF. Fortunately, it is never wrong to say: “ When the going gets tough, the tough get going”. While some are struggling to find a way out, others have taken advantage of this period to create values and contribute to the community in different ways. Because no matter how the situation is, everything is just a choice.

Life is evidently full of indispensable motions and society can not exist or operate without movements. Nevertheless, motion is not always linear, in one direction but there will always be unexpected twists. On the other hand, motion is everywhere, hence adapting to new circumstances and flexibly solving difficulties are the “keys” to making every journey easier and more favorable. Having perceived the role of motion, “YOUTH FORUM EMPOWERMENT: THE NEW NORMAL” is created as a showcase for youngsters to express and share their own stories of “motion”.

Goal: “Vietnamese youth proactively progress, construct the community”

Through this online forum, NGUOC aims to provide an open space for enthusiastic young people to “open up”, share their experiences as well as honestly reveal the stories bringing their own distinct individuality, especially when it gets tough. Hence, NGUOC hopes that youngsters can spread Vietnamese positive and optimistic youth power to the community - ever burning regardless of immeasurable changes in our surroundings.

1. Chủ đề: Civic engagement in the “new normal”: Người trẻ và những đóng góp cho cộng đồng đi đôi với “CHUYỂN ĐỘNG”  trong giai đoạn “bình thường mới”

Sống trong thế giới nhiều thử thách và biến đổi khó đoán định, con người, đặc biệt là người trẻ, càng cần phải thích nghi và phát triển nhiều hơn bao giờ hết. Gần đây, trước sự xuất hiện của dịch bệnh nguy hiểm, những người trẻ đã và đang trải qua một thử thách chưa từng có tiền lệ mang tên “giãn cách xã hội”. Mọi hoạt động, dự định, ấp ủ giờ đây đều phải hoãn lại hoặc thậm chí phải hủy bỏ. Trong khi một số còn đang loay hoay tìm lối đi mới, một số khác đã tận dụng khoảng thời gian này để kiến tạo, cống hiến cho xã hội bằng nhiều màu sắc khác nhau.

Có thể thấy, chuyển động là điều tất yếu của cuộc sống. Xã hội tồn tại và phát triển không thể không có chuyển động. Tuy nhiên, chuyển động không thể luôn theo một hướng, một lối mà sẽ có những ngã rẽ đôi khi khiến con người không ngờ tới. Mặt khác, chuyển động luôn có mặt ở mọi nơi, do đó việc thích nghi với những hoàn cảnh sống khác nhau và linh hoạt tìm ra giải pháp khi gặp khó khăn chính là “chìa khóa” giúp mọi hành trình của con người trở nên dễ dàng và thuận lợi. Nhận thức được vai trò của chuyển động, sự kiện “YOUTH FORUM EMPOWERMENT: THE NEW NORMAL” ra đời như một triển lãm để các bạn trẻ thể hiện và kể câu chuyện về “chuyển động” của riêng họ.

Mục tiêu: “Người Việt trẻ tích cực chuyển động, kiến tạo cộng đồng”

Thông qua diễn đàn trực tuyến, NGƯỚC mong muốn cung cấp một không gian mở cho các bạn trẻ nhiệt huyết cùng “trải”, chia sẻ kinh nghiệm và những câu chuyện, trong đó mỗi câu chuyện là một sắc màu riêng biệt truyền cảm hứng trong thời kỳ dịch bệnh. Từ đó, NGƯỚC hi vọng các bạn trẻ có thể lan tỏa những thông điệp tích cực và lạc quan tới cộng đồng về một sức trẻ Việt Nam - luôn rực cháy mãnh liệt bất kể những biến đổi khôn lường của môi trường sống xung quanh.
