NGUOC always hopes that during the trip to Thai Nguyen land - the land of green tea of ​​the country, TELUCANI - NGUOC Leadership Youthcamp in Thai Nguyen will be like a dewdrop that nourishes persistent creativity, uncovers hidden potentials and spreads strong enthusiasm to young people - green buds need to be cherished and challenged.

- Desire to build, develop yourself and meet enthusiastic young people across the country.

- Have experiences in social projects, volunteer activities and desire to contribute and spread positive values ​​to the community.

Staff and participants check in to The American Hangout, following safety protocols and settling down their seats.

  • ​Pass The Eyes: Participants are randomly assigned a diverse set of questions related to their own characteristics and personality. The members in groups of 3-4 people take turns asking each other in a circle.

  • Eyes magnet: Exciting warm-up physical activity aimed at stimulating participants' spirits, where each participant stick their eyes onto one another's and hence, connect with others more.

Critical Thinking VS Creative Thinking

  • Participants learn about 2 different thinking strategies and how to combine them.

  • Excercises where participants can practice this knowledge in groups.

Role-play activities exercise the ability of thinking and persuasion when participants can role-play into departments in a company and practice pitching skills.

MC/Host welcome: The Representative from American Center Hanoi, U.S. Embassy.

The Public Affairs Section advances U.S. foreign policy by deepening ties between the peoples of Vietnam and the United States.  Through diverse programs – from social media campaigns to academic exchange programs, to name just a few  – Public Affairs delivers information about the United States, its policies, its government, its people, and its culture, to better align the Vietnamese public with the U.S. interests of mutual concern.  Public Affairs works closely with all members of the U.S. Mission in Vietnam to promote and amplify their policy efforts.

The American Center (AC), a high-tech library and computer lab with 3D printers is a conducive environment to learn English and attend workshops and programs for free.  The AC also responds to research requests, providing up-to-date information about the United States to journalists, academicians, researchers, Vietnamese government officials, ‎and students.

  • An interactive activity to embrace the message about diversity: each individual has his own colors, and do not let the prejudices prevent you from connecting to others.

  • Youth representatives are divided into groups and select a topic

  • Prepare a short value statement sentence that represents themselves and say it confidently in front of the camera. Each campers are allowed 3 takes.

NGƯỚC is not only the brainchild of the founder but also the ideal of over ten thousand members. Since 2016, NGUOC youth activists are jointly devoting our energy and creativity to public interests, especially to inclusive education, environmental issues, and voluntary activities.
